Day - 1 Cochin (Kochi)

Welcome to Kerala – God’s own Country. On arrival at Cochin, you are greeted and assisted at the Airport by our representative and transferred to hotel for 01 night stay. (Cochin Airport to Hotel is 01 hr drive; check in time at the hotel is 12 noon)


One of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian Sea coast, Cochin, has been a port of call for foreign traders from early times. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures representing different regions of the world. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub. Afternoon, sightseeing of *Fort Cochin covering Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace & Chinese Fishing Net. Evening watch the Kathakali dance show at the local theatre.


Your hotel is in Fort Cochin, the older, traditional and heritage face of Cochin. You will see a modern Cochin while you drive around. Fort Cochin will take you to the older era where the life existed and exists in a different format. You can find one among the oldest Jew Settlements here and now a few people are left in the community. The tradition will tell you the first arrival of a foreigner (Portuguese) to the first arrival of Christianity and Islam in India.

Day - 2 COCHIN – MUNNAR (130 kms | 4 hrs)

Breakfast. Check out and drive to Munnar through the beautiful countryside of Kerala. You can watch the change of life from the bustling city to a slower pace in the villages. Stop in between for a typical Kerala “meter Chaya” (Tea) in the wayside tattukada (corner shop) or taste the banana fruits in its variety. Are you courageous enough to try a “beedi” the local tobacco cigarette !!


Munnar is a beautiful and peaceful hill station covered with unending expanse of tea plantations, with an altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 m above the sea level. This hill station was the favourite summer resort of European settlers for centuries. Sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Check in at hotel for 02 nights stay.

Day - 3 Munnar

Breakfast. Later, do sightseeing of Munnar.


Visit Eravikulam National Park, the natural habitat of the Ibex called Nilgiri Tahar; Mattupetty Dam, Echo point and the Munnar town. Walk through the hills kissing the clouds, breathing the sweet smell of Tea. Visit the Tea Museum to watch the processing of Tea.


Your hotel here is in a beautiful hillside. Go for a lazy walk, enjoy the refreshing air which rejuvenate you, be a part of the Nature. Open the doors of your mind. Be in tranquility, be in peace. There may be an overflow of emotions, yes, you become a Poet / Singer / Painter… !!!

Day - 4 Munnar – Thekkady (110 kms | 4 hrs)

Breakfast. Check out and drive to Periyar.


The most renowned destination in Kerala, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary at Thekkady is one of India’s major sanctuary areas. The man-made lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. The drive to Thekkady itself is enchanting as the road winds through lush green countryside, rich plantations and thick jungles. Stop a while at the view point.


Check in at your hotel for 01 night’s stay. Afternoon go for the Spice plantation visit where you could see, touch and smell almost all the spices in its plant form. Later enjoy an Elephant joy ride in the plantation/ countryside.

Day - 5 MUNNAR – PERIYAR (Thekkady) [110 kms | 4 hrs]

Breakfast. Check out and drive to Kumarakom. Driving down the hill to the backwaters, the natural fresh water bodies. Taste some tapioca chips and a Kerala special “Meeta pan” made out of bettle leaves. (with out tobacco)


On arrival, check in at the back water resort for 01 night. Kumarakom is a backwater village famous for its mangrove forests. Your hotel is inside a coconut grove. Sit in the bench on the lakeside and watch the Sun Set. Have a lovely chat with the evening breeze. You can feel the change of life and nature from the tranquility of hills to the serenity of the lake.

Day - 6 KUMARAKOM ~ ALLEPPEY

Morning breakfast at resort.


By noon, embark on a Houseboat for an overnight cruise upto Alleppey. Cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk; relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind & waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. You can see a different life style along side the canals which resembles the life in Venice. Cruise till 6 in the evening by then the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day, cruising starts at 7.30 am.)

Day - 7 ALLEPPEY – TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAM  [176 kms | 4 hrs]

Breakfast. Disembark at Alleppey. Drive along costal side to Kovalam.


The palm-fringed beach of Kovalam is one of the most famous beaches in India. The boundless blue waters of the Arabian Sea and miles of white sand washed away by the surf, make this beach a paradise come true. Check in at a beach resort for 05 nights stay.


Your resort here will give you an insight on the traditional Kerala houses made up of wood. The view of the sea in the night with the fisherman’s lights is amazing. You can join them to pull the fishing net out of the sea next day morning. Feel the rejuvenating effect of Ayurveda, the traditional Indian System of Medicine. Look into yourself with practicing Yoga, to realize the world inside you... Om shanti shanti shanti !!

Day - 8 KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI [100 kms | 3 hrs one way] – optional

Breakfast. Day trip to *Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India.


En route visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, the magnificent wooden palace of 15th century constructed by Travancore Maharajas & Sucheendram Temple. Later, continue to Kanyakumari, the meeting point of 3 oceans - Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea & Bay of Bengal. Afternoon, boating to Vivekananda Rock Memorial where the famous Indian philosopher Swami Vivekananda meditated and got enlightenment. (Optional) After sunset you will drive back to Kovalam.

Day - 9 KOVALAM

Breakfast. Rest of the day at leisure. Day Trip to *Trivandrum - optional

Day - 10 KOVALAM

Breakfast. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day - 11 KOVALAM

Breakfast. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day - 12 KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM

Bid Adieu to Kerala, the land excavated from the Sea by Lord ParasuRama (one among the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu) But you never say Good bye, rather you will say as every Keralite say while leaving “Poyittu Varaam” (now going, will come back)


On time transfer to Trivandrum Airport for your onward journey.
