Palaruvi Waterfalls, meaning “Stream of Milk,” is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Kerala, located near Thenmala in Kollam district. The water cascades from a height of about 300 feet, creating a stunning white stream that resembles flowing milk.
Surrounded by dense forests of the Western Ghats, the falls offer a refreshing natural retreat. The area is well maintained, with pathways and viewing spots for visitors. The cool, clear water and scenic greenery make it a popular picnic and nature destination.
It is also believed that the water here has medicinal properties due to the herbs in the forest region.
